Keep Girls In School Campaign 2020-2022
After the 2021 COVID-19 country lockdown, the enrollment rate of girls both in lower and higher education was very low. This contributed to high poverty levels of parents that would rather marry off the young and teenage girls in exchange of food stuff and money.
The Girls back to school campaign was to massively sensitize communities on the need for the girl child education and support them with necessities for girls to return to schools.
Through this campaign. We supported over 500 girls with school requirements (books, pens and reams of papers) and school fees to return to school.
