Day of the African Child

In partnership with other civil society organisations under the Brave Movement Uganda Chapter, We Carried out a school outreach to St. Dennis Ssebugwawo s.s with the theme “The right of the child in the digital environment”.

Through discussions with young people, we pointed out the roles of different actors in the protection of children. These included the government, telecommunication companies, schools, civil society organisations, parents but most especially the children themselves.

We encouraged the students to stop using the internet for cyberbullying and psychologically torturing their fellow students but rather for productive work and academics.
